The Road to Complete Freedom was born from a journey of perseverance, discovery, and an unshakable belief that true freedom is the right of all people. Founded in 2024, this organization was created to empower individuals to break the chains of debt and regain control of their lives. The mission is simple: to educate, inspire, and support people in achieving financial freedom, one dollar at a time. By leveraging the power of community and the principles of generosity, The Road to Complete Freedom aims to help millions break free from debt and live without financial burdens.
With a focus on education, financial literacy, and community support, the organization encourages peaceful action to dismantle the current economic system's reliance on debt, paving the way for future generations to live without financial enslavement.
ABOUT OUR FOUNDER
Mickey, born on July 30, 1971, in Anderson, South Carolina, has led a life marked by determination and personal evolution. After years of pursuing his passion for baseball and playing at Vanderbilt University, Mickey transitioned to the corporate world, only to discover that true fulfillment could not be found in traditional jobs.
In 1999, he asked to join a financial planning firm despite having no formal education in the subject. This turned out to be a blessing because he was not indoctrinated by formal education. In his time as a financial advisor, he experienced the dotcom bubble that took place in the early 2000s and the Great Financial Crisis of 2008. It was the crisis of 2008 that caused him to begin questioning, which led to him questioning the entire financial system.
One comment made by a colleague at the firm where he worked was that spark that began what is now the Road to Complete Freedom. The comment, “A little inflation is a good thing.” To which Mickey asked the question, “Why and for whom?”
Inspired by a personal revelation during a time of spiritual and financial crisis, Mickey dedicated himself to learning the truths about debt, inflation, and the economic forces that keep individuals trapped in slavery. Despite facing deep personal struggles, including depression and a significant loss, Mickey emerged with a renewed mission: to help others escape the weight of debt and create a community of true freedom.
Through his leadership and unwavering commitment, Mickey now guides the Road to Complete Freedom with the same determination that carried him through the ups and downs of his life. His personal story is a testament to the power of resilience and the belief that freedom is RIGHT for everyone.

Once you’ve chosen a family, head to the donation form on the same page. We offer a secure and easy process for donating—whether it’s a one-time gift or a recurring donation. You can contribute as little as $1 a day or give a custom amount. Every dollar brings someone closer to financial freedom.

3. Send Funds Directly via Venmo QR Code
After your donation is processed, you'll be given a unique Venmo QR code connected to the family you chose. This code allows you to send funds directly to the family, ensuring they receive your contribution quickly and securely. Simply scan the QR code with your Venmo app, confirm the details, and watch as your donation reaches those who need it most.
